Neukölln ("NewCölln") is located in the south-east of Berlin towards Berlin Schönefeld Airport. This district is the most populated one with highest percentage of immigrants with influx of students, creatives and western immigrants. It is adjacent to Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, borders with Treptow-Köpenick in the east, Tempelhof-Schöneberg in the west and the Stadtring motorway in the south. Rixdorf village church, Şehitlik Mosque, Neuköllner Oper are some of the star attractions of this district.
Neukölln is well-connected to the other regions of the city and is located on the ring. It has many rail stations and among them Hermannplatz, Hermannstraße, Berlin-Neuköllnact act as interchanges. The U-Bahn Line U7 and U8 are backbone of public transport of this district and S-Bahn routes (S41, S42, S45, S46, S47) run through parts of Neukölln.
