Your Mission

  • Acquisition of new apartments in Berlin (B2B or B2C)
  • Pitche our landlords and those who want to become, the urban ground model
  • Inclusion of empty units (apartments) with subsequent exposé creation and publication of advertisements in online portals
  • Responsible for the inspection of apartments and the handover protocol (with both landlords and tenants)
  • Optimize team processes and acquisition strategies for long-term partnerships
  • High customer orientation and enjoyment of the professional advice of owners and prospects

Your Profile

  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience in the residential property rental market in Berlin
  • You like working independently and goal-oriented on deadlines and KPIs
  • You have excellent German and English skills (essential)
  • Your communication skills and persuasiveness characterize you
  • Structured, analytical work and task prioritization are easy
  • Enjoy self-responsible work in a team and an independent, goal-oriented and reliable way of working

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound business development: Calling landlords, who have posted properties on various classified portals in Germany.
  • Inbound business development: Explains Urban Ground business model to landlords, who contact us directly.
  • Tenant communication management: Call potential tenants, who have responded to our advertisements and gather information concerning their requirements.
  • Arrange appointments with tenants to schedule viewings.

Qualifications Required

  • Fluency in German (C1 - level) and English.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Ability to relate with people and to sell the business concept of Urban Ground GmbH.
  • Prior experience of Business Development would be an added advantage.

About Urban Ground

  • Urban Ground is a platform for renting long-term apartments in Berlin in a completely online fashion. We turn the stressful process of relocation and house-hunting into a seamless experience.

Your tasks

  • Driving the letting process by finding suitable tenants for the properties managed by Urban Ground.
  • Creation of property exposés on portals such as Immoscout24, Immowelt, eBay, Facebook etc.
  • Manage property viewings and handover protocols.
  • Support the whole letting process post contract signature (from inspecting the property after acquisition to helping tenants sign-up for services such as electricity, internet and banking contracts).
  • Preparation, adaptation and evaluation of marketing activities designed to acquire new potential tenants.

Your profile

  • Willingness to learn.
  • You are enthusiastic about the PropTech industry.
  • Capable of working independently and also within a team.
  • Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.
  • You are open-minded, friendly, reliable and willing to learn.
  • Excellent oral and written skills in both German and English.
