Steglitz-Zehlendorf is south-western district of Berlin, formed by merging Steglitz and Zehlendorf and comprises of Wannsee, Nikolassee, Zehlendorf, Dahlem, Lichterfelde, Steglitz and Lankwitz. It has the biggest university in Berlin besides lot of lakes and forests. Steglitz has the major shopping street of Schlossstraße, with its malls, specialized stores and large and small outlets.
Steglitz is served by the S-Bahn line S1 (at Feuerbachstraße and Rathaus Steglitz), S25 (at Südende) and U-Bahn line U9 (at Walther-Schreiber-Platz, Schloßstraße and Rathaus Steglitz). Zehlendorf is served by the S-Bahn lines (S1S7) and U-Bahn line U3. The Bundesstraße 1 federal highway runs through the district and also has access to the A115.
